英语中经常出现2个并列的名词中间用and（或as well as等）连接,然后第二个名词后又有一个介词短语,比如of sth.请问of sth是修饰第二个名词还是修饰两个名词的整体.

同样的情况,如果是A of B and C,是B修饰A呢,还是B和C的整体修饰A呢.

例如：the peel of an apple and a pear. / the aspect of the view and the picture.

这种结构的理解有没有什么规律？还是必须根据上下文来判断？
