请问句中log fewer than 60 incidents中的fewer词性是什么？

这句话中的log是及物动词，fewer按理应该是代词，可是代词怎么会有比较级？
如果fewer是形容词，直接跟在log后面很奇怪。还是应该把fewer than 60 incidents看做一个整体，一个代词？

log 是及物动词，意为“记录”，其宾语是incidents，不是fewer。fewer than 60“不足60”,是incidents的定语。
把fewer than（少于，不足）理解为一个固定词组，类似more than（多于，超过），修饰数词。
