副词修饰名词和及物动词问题

There was always music on in my house when I was little.

这里的on是副词表示持续性吗？那它是修饰名词music吗？如果它是修饰名词music的，为什么这里可以修饰呢？

My dad asked me to deejay at the restaurant he owned.

own在这里是及物动词“拥有”的意思。那它后面为什么没有加宾语呢？

1. There was always music on in my house when I was little.

on 是副词作 music 的后置定语。相当于一个定语从句 which/that was on。此时，on 的含义是“（指活动）在进行中”。又如：

Let's go to the cinema— there's a good film on this week. （on 是副词作定语，不是介词，this week 不需要介词，而且也不能用on ）

咱们去看电影吧，本周在上映一部好片子。《牛津词典》

2. My dad asked me to deejay at the restaurant he owned.

黑体为定语从句，省略了作宾语的关系代词。说明 owned 是及物动词，是有宾语的。这里，own 应翻译为 “开办”（父亲开的餐馆）。不宜翻译为 “拥有”，过于局限了它的词义。
