I am surprised 后面接的为什么是宾语从句

I am surprised that you should think the exam is pretty diffculty.这句话为什么只有一个that连接词，是不是还有一个that。

为什么 I am surprised 后面要接宾语从句，明明主谓表齐全为什么还接宾语从句

那如果说后面接的是宾语从句的话，那么you should think the exam是完整句子吗？那既然说you should think the exam是完整句子的话那么that可以引导宾语从句，那么下面剩下的is pretty difficult是主和宾，那么主语是整句话 You should think the exam. 那这个时候就变成了主语从句，那么又有另一个that来引导，那么整句话是不是就是变成了。 I am surprised that that you should think the exam is pretty difficulty.又因为that不能重复，然后把that省略了是吗？

I am surprised that you should think the exam is pretty diffcult.

在 think 后面确实省略了一个 that，宾语从句省略 that 很常见，同时本句也是为了避免两个 that 重复：

I am surprised that you should think （that）the exam is pretty diffcult.

由此看出，the exam is pretty diffcult. 是 think 的宾语从句。由于网友抄写的句子有误，导致理解失误，结果，其他叙述也出现错误。
