为什么是came而不是comes

语法填空题。

Beijing Opera is our national opera. It has a history from 1790. Its music and singing ____(come) from Anhui and Hubei.

答案给的是came。为什么不是comes呢？

表明以前是来自于安徽和湖北？难道就现在不是了吗？

这和

I come from Shandong.

Country music is very old. It comes from the United States, ......

有什么区别呀？

实在理解不了。

It has a history from 1790. 英语一般不这么说，改为It has a history dating back to 1790 比较好。come 用过去式，是因为受前句1790的影响。如果没有第二句，也可以用come原形（我见过music and singing接复数动词），用一般现在时，表明作者讲述的是一个事实，用过去式作者侧重事件发生在过去。两个都是正确的，如：Sushi originates/originated from Japanese.

I come from Shangdong 是我是山东人的意思。如果用came from/have come from 表示从哪里来。
