分析为条件状语或时间状语均可，意思 “在......情况下；在......时”。修饰系表结构，不能说修饰谓语，因为in her new dress 也是谓语的组成部分之一。

=The girl look pretty when she wears her new dress.
=The girl looks pretty if she wears her new dress
备注：以上介词表示“穿戴，后面接帽子和衣服”
He was a big man, smartly dressed in a suit and tie. 他身材高大，穿着西服打着领带，非常帅气。
The woman in black is Tom's mother穿黑衣女人是汤姆的妈妈。
They are dressed in their best clothes他们穿着他们最好的衣服
The man in the hat is Jack's father戴帽子的男子是杰克爸爸。
