I had thought和I would/should have thought都是我本以为的意思.

句子中的I thought不也是我本以为的意思吗,和I had thought和would/should have thought又有什么区别呢?
还有为什么没有have thought这个用法呢?
你现在和小明在说话,你的本以为是昨天的事,即昨天的状态,用一般过去时 thought,当时以为他要出差,需要过去将来时 would go on errands. 而不是 had gone. 用过去完成时意为,我本以为你出差了。Oh, Xiaoming, It's you. I thought you had gone on errands.
如果你和我现在对话。你告诉我,你前天以为小明出差了,结果昨天你碰见了他,他实际没有出差。你现在对我说的话是,I met Xiaoming yesterday. I had thought he was on a business trip. I was wrong.
你也可以这么说,If I hadn't met Xiaoming yesterday, I would have thought he was on a business trip. 本会以为...
以上三个句子都表示本以为,但语境不同,所以谓语动词形式不同。
think表示认为、以为的意义时,为静态动词表示状态的存在,不是动作。静态动词的现在完成时通常需要持续时间状语表示一个状态持续到说话时有多久了。例如,For years I have thought you are my friend. 这不就是have thought的用法了吗?你怎么能说没有这种用法呢?
