ruins 表示“遗址”意义时，总是用复数形式。谓语动词原则上使用复数，但也可以使用单数，如果把它看作一个整体单位。

Hemudu cultural ruins is a protected national heritage site.

河姆渡文化遗址是国家级文物保护单位。

Sanxingdui Ruins is located in the central area of the Shu culture circle, and it is the representative of this culture as well as the center of the ancient Shu culture.

三星堆遗址位于蜀文化圈的中心区域，是蜀文化的典型代表，也是古蜀文化的中心。
