I was so angry that when the bus arrived at my school, I elbowed my way through the crowd.

that when the bus arrived at my school是时间状语从句吗？那为什么要加一个that？直接说when the bus arrived at my school不就可以了吗？

so ... that 是引导结果状语从句的从属连词，意思是“如此 ...... 以致（于） ...... ” 。so 后接形容词或者副词原级形式， that 后接句子，这里的 when the bus arrived at my school, I elbowed my way through the crowd 是一个带有时间状语从句的主从复合句。
