Asking the technician to “hold on”,the customer put the phone down and was heard walking over to shut the to his room.The technician meant the door to his floppy drive.

请问这句话的was heard 的主语应该是technician吧，但是照句子来看是customer做的主语，到底是哪里不对呢？

句子没有问题，是你自己理解错误。was heard 的主语就是the cunstomer. 注意was heard是被动语态，意为被听到，the custsomer 放下电话，走过去关门，他走过去关门的脚步声和关门的声音被the technician在电话那头听到了。
