我总觉得这句话有点奇怪。the first men 如何理解？

这句话没有什么难理解的。

有啥奇怪的呢？第一批人登陆月球。landed是谓语动词。例如：

The first settlers at the English settlement in Jamestown, Virginia hoped to forge new lives away from England.

你是不是误以为first 只能跟单数名词了？
