The English alphabet begins with A and ends with Z. 英文字母表以A开始，以Z结束。
Their arguments grew worse and worse and ended with a divorce suit. 他们吵得越来越凶，最终提出了离婚诉讼。
否定式 not end with 的意思就是“不以……结束”。如：
Some adverbs are irregular; they do not end with –ly. 有些副词是不规则的，它们不以-ly结尾。
Plural nouns that do not end with -s include: cattle, clergy, people, police, poultry, etc. 不以-s结尾的复数名词包括 cattle, clergy, people, police, poultry 等。
