Of 介词短语放在句首，目的是为了句子结构的匀称。并非位于句末的of 短语都可置于句首！关键要看of 在句中的作用，这时的of 一般表示“所属关系”或“整体与部分关系”。例如：
Summer is the hottest of all the four seasons. 在所有四季当中，夏天最热。
可以改为：Of all the four seasons, summer is the hottest.
A record of all the firm's transactions is kept. 公司的一切交易都有记载。
可以改为：A record is kept of all the firm's transactions.
还可改为：Of all the firm's transactions a record is kept.
【注意】下面句子中的of 不存在上述关系，所以不可提前于句首：
He was very fond of writing and reciting poetry. 他很喜欢写诗和背诗。
A bowl of hot chicken soup is good for you. 一碗热鸡汤对你有好处。
