过去分词短语做原因状语的例句：

        从上述例句可以看出，过去分词短语作伴随状语时，分词表示的动作和句中谓语动词所表示的动作是同时发生的；过去分词短语作原因状语时，分词表示的动作是在句中谓语动词所表示的动作之前发生的。所以，下面句子中的过去分词短语应该是原因状语：

       The tiger escaped from the zoo, frightened by the humans.

提问网友必须要搞清楚一个问题，非谓语动词中“现在分词或者过去分词”作方式状语或者伴随状语的时，非谓语动词所表示动作是与谓语动词所表示动作“同时存在的” 或者说是伴随谓语动词动作一起发生的。

A:分析为方式状语：即“老虎以受到人类惊吓方式从动物园逃出”

B:分析为伴随状语：即“老虎从动物逃出过程中处于受到人类惊吓状态中”

下面的句子都是过去分词作伴随状语或者是方式状语，表示它与谓语动作同时发生或者伴随谓语动词发生。

我曾经解答过：这个句子应该这样写：Frightened by the humans, the tiger escaped from the zoo.  如果你非要用伴随状语形式，可以这样：The tiger escaped from the zoo, frightened.  要删去by引导的部分。因为有by 强调的是动作，没有by，可以表示受惊吓的状态。
