过去分词作状语时表示被动和完成，也就是发生在谓语之前，而结果是在原因之前的（先有因后有果）。所以是不是过去分词不能作结果状语呢?看到这样一个句子The girl met an accident when crossing the road,wounded in the head.按照这种规则，这个句子是不是不符合语法逻辑。wounded in the head应该是发生在谓语动词之前的

The girl had an accident when crossing the road, wounded in the head.

(注意不能用met，改为had)

这句话是说，这个女孩在遇到车祸时，脑袋已经受伤了，脑袋受伤与车祸没有任何关系，脑袋受伤可能是之前被驴踢了）
