1.书中说not so much as表示“择比”时，否定as前的，肯定as后的，比如：

The oceans do not so much divide the world as unite it.

但是我搜到有些句子，句中的so much的位置和书中的不一样，想问这种情况是正确的吗，这种情况是应该按照普通的比较句看待还是继续看作“择比”呢，比如：

I don't like English so much as math.(本句是否该变为：I don't so much like English as math.)

Tom doesn't like living in the country so much as in the city.(本句是否该变为：Tom doesn't so much like living in the country as in the city.)

Tom doesn't work so much as plays.(本句是否该变为：Tom don't so much work as plays.)

2.not so much as无论是普通结构还是择比结构，是否都可以把so变为as呢(not as much as)?
