1、句中红线部分为什么要用逗号分隔，为什么不可以紧挨着前面的program，两者有什么区别？

2、红线部分是不是只能作定语，不能分析成状语。

1. now focused narrowly on race and gender 是 program 的非限制性定语（= which is now focused...），所以加逗号。意为 “这个项目现在只考虑种族和性别”。

若作状语，就跟 program 无关，讲不通。

2. look for 和 open up 并列。
