There is nothing I want more than for you guys to be happy.

1)nothing后面是个定语从句，那么定语从句是I want nothing more...吗？感觉more是定语，但此时more是什么词性，为什么more可以作nothing的后置定语呢？

2)然后这个句子该怎么补全呢？两个比较项分别是什么呢？

There is nothing I want more than for you guys to be happy.

——more 是程度副词 much 的比较级，修饰 want，与 nothing 无关。演变如下：

There is nothing I want very much.（黑体部分为定语从句，want 的宾语是先行词 nothing，much 修饰 want）
There is nothing I want more than （I want） for you guys to be happy. （因 I want 与主句重复，故省略）

比较从句如果用完整的句子表示，则为：I want something for you guys to be happy.

重要说明：want 是有宾语的，因为是定语从句，所以宾语即是先行词。这次，完整的句子补上宾语 something。不定式复合结构 for you guys to be happy 作目的状语。
