2 but是介词还是连词
It’s not what you say, but the way (that) you say it.
想知道这个句子里的 but 是当连词还是介词，如何判断？
已知如果是连词，应该连接两个同等的成份，比类似 and, 连接 apple and banana, tall and beautiful.
但这里是 what you way 【从句】和 the way 【名词】，貌似类型不一样。

以上结构属于“Not A but B”意思是“不是A而是B” ，句中的“but” 为表示转折关系并列连词，不是介词，but后面省略“it is”

it代替前面“the thing”, that you say it为定语从句修饰前面名词“way”
