as分句的问题
曹老师，您好，想像老师请教一下这两个句子：
Today acupuncture has become popular round the world, as have other traditional Chinese medicines.
He voted for Trump, as his wife did.
我理解have=has become popular round the world，而did=voted for Trump，问题是按照我这样的理解，从句似乎完整了....，所以：
1.as分句省略了什么成分，或者说as作了什么成分呢？
2.主句中并没有管控词，那此时我可以理解as兼具了管控词的作用修饰了has become popular round the world和voted for Trump吗？所以我可以认为比较项就是has become popular round the world和voted for Trump吗？

《剑桥英语语法》认为，当主句没有管控项时，as本身就兼有管控项的作用，即你说的自带管控项。由于主句中没有比较项，所以as分句也就无所谓必须省略比较对应项，因此这种as分句可以没有空位，即as分句可以不缺成分。这是《剑桥英语语法》的观点。对此我有不同的看法，我认为as其实还是在从句中作成分的。
He voted for Trump, as his wife did.
如果按照你的理解，认为did=voted for Trump. 那么句子就可以改写为：
He voted for Trump, as his wife voted for Trump. 这是一个错句。
我们先看一下并列句。
He voted for Trump, and his wife voted for Trump, too.
He voted for Trump, and his wife did, too.
He voted for Trump, and his wife did it, too.
He voted for Trump, and his wife did so, too.
在最后二个句子中的did it 和did so 为替代动词do的实意动词用法。It为宾语，so可以是宾语，也可以是状语，也可以是宾语+状语。最后一个句子so前置，删去句末的too, 得到：
He voted for Trump, and so did his wife. So为did的状语。
用as替换and so, 得到：
He voted for Trump, as did his wife.
He voted for Trump, as his wife did.
同理，
He left, as did his wife. As为did的状语。
He left, and his wife did so, too. So为did的状语。
第一句中，as 作have become的表语。
也可以理解as为连词不作成分，二个as分句中分别省略了表语和和状语。而且省略的成分是不可以还原的。
