关于be adj enough to do结构语法的请教

口语外教教了一句话：Our town is also small enough to where you can walk just about everywhere.

我问这句话语法是否正确，他表示这是很地道的口语表达。但我真不明白这个语法结构。enough to后面应该是动词啊，这里确接了个where。就算这句话是约定俗成，是不是也该有个“进化”过程啊，比如是 small enough to go where you can walk之类的，但我知道我这句话也有问题。在这里请教了，谢谢！

首先，这个句子没有错误。enough to where+主谓结构，是介词短语表示enough的结果状语。类似的句子在COCA语料库有100多个。where引导名词性从句，where相当于that, 为非正式用法。但that从句不能做介词的宾语，而where引导从句则可以作介词宾语了。也可以理解to where=to the result that, that引导限制性同位语从句修饰the result. 即 to where相当于so that引导结果状语从句。

你的句子可翻译为：我们的城镇也够小了，以致于我们可以步行到每个地方。当然你可以润色为更为通顺的汉语，但意思就是这样的。
