这里的distributing是动名词还是现在分词呢？

在distributing...应该是动名词，前面省略了about, 即problems about distributing...吗？

或者把distributing the vaccines 理解成problems的同位语？

如果把distributing理解成现在分词，那么problems就是逻辑主语，这不符合逻辑吧？

have reported problems (in) distributing...这个介词in不该省略而被省略了。distributing为动名词。

如果没有reported，直接为have problems (in) distributing...则in可有可无，有in+动名词为介词短语作状语，没有in为现在分词作状语。但这个句子中是problems的定语，省略介词in是不恰当的。我认为这是作者的失误。

补充：我在COCA语料库搜索了一下，reported problems doing sth的例句还不少。但也有加介词in的。看来这种用法不是个例，而是一种惯用法了。如果换一个角度，不把doing分析为problems的定语，仍按照状语分析，那么介词in的有误则都能解释通了。
