老师，我在 VOA special English 的新闻里看到这么几句话：

我有个疑问：

句中的【called the evidence presented against her husband "ambiguous."】，其中presented是过去分词作evidence的后置定语，against her husband也是介词短语作evidence的后置定语。

去掉这两个后置定语就简化为：【call evidence ambiguous】，其中evidence是名词，ambigugous是形容词。

这样的话，就变成了【call+名词+形容词】结构，但我在《牛津词典》中，并没有查到这种用法。

请问这是一种什么用法？是翻译成【称 A 为 B】吗？
