句子成分分析

向老师请教几个句子成分：

1) They are manufacturing these things, twisting humans into monsters.

怎么判断into monsters是状语还是宾补？这个有点搞不清楚。

2) We used nearly all of our ammunition saving you two.

关于这个句子有两个问题：

a.这个现在分词saving是什么状语，这是表目的意义吗？

b.如果是现在分词作结果状语则前面必须有逗号对吗？

3) The first step is for humanity as a whole to recognize that we are one people.

这里应该将as a whole视为习语修饰to recognize that we are one people，还是作recognize的宾补？

b.如果是现在分词作结果状语则前面必须有逗号对吗？

——分析英语句子结构，不应按照汉语意思去理解。saving you two 作“方面状语”，跟 spend...doing 是一样的结构。

3) The first step is for humanity as a whole to recognize that we are one people.

这里应该将as a whole 视为习语修饰to recognize that we are one people，还是作recognize的宾补？

——for humanity as a whole to recognize that we are one people，是动词不定式复合结构，作表语。其中，as a whole 作 humanity 的定语。

1）宾语补语，修饰的是动作的结构，而不是这个动作怎么样。

2)目的，不一定加逗号。

3）修饰 humanity,后置定语。
