我读完后的语感是：这不是同位语从句，应该是定语从句，=stories/ (that） one hears / of another personality entering into a man and driving out the old one. of 后为stories 的定语。of=about. 这就是我读后第一感觉所接受的意思。如果是同位语从句，1. that 这里不能省。 2. one sometimes hears of 放在这里不合乎逻辑，应该删掉。
I'm reminded of sth 是一习惯表达，可以翻译为：我想到。。。
