短语动词与副词位置 - 柯帕斯英语网

老师好，

我一向觉得副词要在动词和介词之间，比如，speak highly of、contribute directly to等，例子很多。但是我看到talk about这个词的用法，却不是这样的，比如在刘老师的解答中有这样一个例句：

The book mainly talks about energy of matter.

这本书主要谈论的是物质的能量。

我一开始觉得不对，去查了例句，发现mainly的位置，一般都是在talk之前的，查不太到talk mainly about 的用法，请老师指教。

这两种用法都存在，应该只是文体，语气和表达习惯方面的差别。我给你两个英语媒体的例句：

1. The lads talk mainly about England's early exit from Euro 2016 as well as the rest of the knockout action.

2. Maas will talk mainly about the planned annexation of occupied Palestinian territory.
