the moment 后面为什么不用 when
I remembered the moment his mother left for the hospital，he burst into tears. 我认为应该在moment后边加一个关系副词when，引导定语从句。但是答案认为这句话没错。

the moment 后面的定语从句，一般省略关系词，如果添加上，也是 that 不是 when。不管 the moment 用作宾语，还是直接引导时间从句，都是如此。例如：
The moment his mother left for the hospital，he burst into tears. 他母亲去医院的那一刻，他就哭了起来。the moment = as soon as
如果The moment his mother left for the hospital，he burst into tears. 是remembered 的宾语从句，不应该省略 that。改为：
I remembered that the moment his mother left for the hospital，he burst into tears.
