However 引导让步从句，是不需要倒装的。网友 mikee 的思路，暂时出现了问题？

1. 本句，however 引导让步从句，后接作表语的形容词 little known。在引导让步的同时，也强调了表语的程度。特征是：把表语提前，从句使用正常语序。
2. known：著名的；little known：鲜为人知的。不可把修饰 known 的副词 little，与之拆开去理解。

3. 恢复原句的系表结构：The feelings or views of such a man may be little known on his first entering a neighbourhood, ...

However 引导让步从句的基本结构：
1. However + 副词：However fast you run, you can't catch a car. （however 除了引导让步从句之外，还表示后面副词的程度）
2. However + 形容词：However old we are, we shouldn't stop learning.（however 除了引导让步从句之外，还表示后面形容词的程度）

Some one or other of their daughters.

little known = little-known adj. 很少有人知道的。二种拼写。
