你说by介词短语是定语，那你有没有考虑它修饰哪个名词？你找到那个名词了吗？逻辑上讲得通吗？分析语法结构不能脱离逻辑分析！逻辑上讲不通的分析一定是错误的分析。

by介词短语是to be的表语。to be有二个介词短语作表语：in 介词短语和by介词短语。不要问为什么二个表语之间没有并列连词。这种情况在实际阅读中多的是了。这是不完全列举，即人际间暴力事件倾向于发生在家庭环境中，由父母或其他成员实施。（为了什么原因，导致什么结果等等就省略不说了。）
