如何理解second hand作为副词的使用方法和含义？

VOA 《Let's hop on our bikes: US kids get active during times of covid》

So we went to another bike store and we still couldn't find any bikes there. And then my dad had to go um and find one second hand online.

And then we found um somebody who was willing to sell it for 500 dollars to us.

sell it for 500 dollars to us 中介词for意为交换。不要改为at，意义不同。不要总是试图改动原句。
