being+的一些用法

问题：不是很懂什么时候要用，什么时候可以用being+名词

2、for workers it can mean an end to the security,benefits and sense of importance that came from being a loyal employee.

问题：这里为什么要加being，不是很懂。

1、Some of these causes are completely reasonable results of social needs. Others are reasonable consequences of particular advances in science being to some extent self-accelerating.
黑体部分为“动名词复合结构”，作 of 的宾语。in science 是advances的定语，to some extent 是修饰系表结构的程度状语。
简化掉这些成分后更加直观：particular advances （逻辑主语）being self-accelerating （动名词短语，而且是系表结构的动名词短语）
2、for workers it can mean an end to the security, benefits and sense of importance that came from being a loyal employee.
be 可以表示 “是某种人；充当某种人；作为某种人”。有无 being 的区别：
from a loyal employee：重要感来自一名忠诚的员工。
from being a loyal employee：重要感来自做一名忠诚的员工。
