这是教美式发音的美国老师说的：

If all the flights are sold out for the holidays....

这里for the holidays是什么意思? 这里的for等于about吗？

If all the flights are sold out for the holidays....

=If all the flights scheduled for the holidays are sold out ....
for the holidays显然是主语的定语（分隔式）。
