关于虚拟语气

请问老师在这句话中If it was up to me, I'd choose...，不是应该用虚拟语气吗？也就是If it were up to me，谢谢老师!

用 If it was up to me, I'd choose...和 If it were up to me...都可以的，都是虚拟语气。比较而言，用 were 比用 was 更正式。
