融合型关系词包括融合型关系代词、融合型关系限定词和融合型关系副词。之所以称这类词为融合型关系词，是因为这类词是把先行词和引导定语从句的关系词合二为一了，即先行词与关系词融为一体。例如：

融合型关系代词what= the thing which。 其中the thing为先行词，which为关系代词。

This is what he gave to me. = This is the thing which he gave to me.

融合型关系限定词what= all the (+名词）that。其中all the为限定词，限定后面的名词，that为关系代词。

I gave him what money I had with me. = I gave him all the money that I had with me.

融合型关系副词where=the place where. 其中the place为先行词，where为关系副词。

This is where I live. = This is the place where I live.

所以你可以看出，融合型关系词引导的名词性从句，在本质上是一个名词词组后接限制性定语从句。
