there is 引导的定语从句的理解？
章振邦新编高级英语语法640页：
限制性关系分句，
......，但在下列结构中，关系代词that的省略并不限于非正式语体。例如：
This is the fastest train there is to Beijing.
He asks for the latets book there is on the subject.
我想请教老师：
上述两句，如果去掉后面的there is, 含义有何差别？即：
This is the fastest train is to Beijing.
He asks for the latets book on the subject.

有了that there is 这个定语从句，先行词就有了“现有的、现存的”的这层含义。你读英文不能光看结构而不去理解句义。
