not in the least的用法

not (…) in the least=not (…) at all 那么他们在句中的位置有什么限制吗？还是都看作副词可以放在形容词之后或之前，动词之前之后都可以？not的位置如must not be in the least还是must be not in the least?

这里的 not 是用来构成谓语动词的否定式的。注意观察以下例句就可以知道它该放在什么位置了：

I'm not in the least tired. 我一点也不累。（摘自《英汉多功能词典》新编升级版p.956）

It did not interest me in the least. [=it did not interest me at all. ]我对它丝毫不感兴趣。

He didn't enjoy it in the least. 他一点也不喜欢它。

That joke was not in the least funny. 那个玩笑一点不好笑。

We weren't in the least tired. 我们一点也不累。

I'm not the least worried. 我一点也不担心。（以上各例句均摘自《韦氏高阶英汉双解词典》p.1190）

must not be in the least 和 must be not in the least 都是错误的，因为意思不通，即不能说“必须一点也不”。
