1. theory 为什么不是复数形式？
因为 theory 既可数又不可数：some theory 指一些抽象的理论；some theories 指一些具体的理论。
2. as globalization 的 as 是什么意思？
as 意思是“作为”。“全球文化”是“全球一体化”的一个组成部分。还有“经济一体化”等等，都属于“全球一体化”这个大概念。
3. 不定式to help 是修饰 guideline 还是修饰 need sth to do sth 的结构？to guide 呢，又是修饰哪个？
help 补充说明 theory，作宾补。as guideline 作定语修饰 theory。
此外，我认为：to help 和 to guide 应属并列成分，都是不定式作宾补。第2个不定式之前似乎缺少了连词 and。如果原句没有连词 and，那么 to guide 应该为目的状语。
