▲此题选 if 是对的，if invited 相当于 if I’m invited 之省略。又如：
If asked, he lies about his age. 有人问起时，他就会谎报年龄。
The medicine is quite effective if taken in time. 这药要是能按时服用，效果是很好的。
If accepted for this post, you will be informed within a week. 如果你被接受担任这个职务，将在一礼拜内给你通知。
▲仅从语法上看，unless 后面也可接这样的省略句。如：
He resolutely refused to speak English unless forced to. 除非迫不得已，否则他坚决不说英语。
All the photographs in this book, unless otherwise stated, date from the 1950s. 本书所有照片，除非另有说明，都摄于20 世纪50 年代。
▲本题之所以不能选 unless，不是因为语法有错，而是因为它的意思与句首的 yes 相冲突，因为如果选 unless，答句则为：Yes, unless invited. = Yes, unless I’m invited. 其意则是：不，我会去（参加婚礼晚会），如果我没有得到邀请的话。——这显然不合情理！
