walk  表示“走”，含义比较具体，即指具体迈开步子走，如你的前面两句：

Can't you walk a little faster?

I can walk without the aid of crutches.

而go 表示“走”，含义比较笼统和抽象，也不指具体迈开步子走路，在许多情况下它与 leave 比较接近，如你的后面两句：

Excuse me, but I'll have to go now.   

You may go, provided your work is done.
