1 beg of sb to do sth 为正式说法。意义等于 beg sb to do sth. 二者区别只是语体不同。

2 not...without...为双重否定句,双重否定句表示强烈的肯定。翻译时可以译为肯定句,也可以译为双重否定。

 You can't tell on him without getting my wife and me into trouble.

你不可能告发他而又不让我们夫妻陷入困境。= 你告发他肯定会让我们夫妻陷入困境。
