when 不能接延续性动词吗

请问为什么不能用 kept 和 when 呢

▲在 when 引导的时间状语从句中，谓语动词可以是延续性动词或者非延续性动词。如：
(1) Shut the door after you when you go out. 出去时请随手关门。（when 从句为终止性动词）
(2) She awoke when the nurse entered the room. 护士进屋的时候，她就醒了。（when 从句为终止性动词）
(3) Things were different when I was a child. 我小时候情况与现在不同。（when 从句为延续性动词）
(4) When I was ill I completely lost my appetite. 我生病时完全没有食欲。（when 从句为延续性动词）
▲但是，when the teacher came in 这个时间状语从句表示的是“点时间”，而不是“段时间”。kept talking 是持续性的动作，所以在这道题中不能用 kept 和 when 填空。
