it具体指代的问题.

(1)It was none other than Mary.

(2)Somebody suggests staring at once and I strongly object to it.

请问各位老师

第一句的it是指什么? 如果指人的话,为什么用it而不是she?

第二个句的it是指"staring at once" 还是指"Somebody suggests.."这件事?

而且为什么写成"object to it" 而不是 "object to do it" 或者 "object it"呢?

有人敲门，你问：Who is it? 这个it指代什么呢？你想过没有？

Who is it that is knocking at the door? 这个it是强调句型it，that分句省略（语境明确了）。

It‘s me. = It's me that is knocking at the door.

你的句子与此同理。你找前文，前文一定提及某人做某事，或者某个人过来了等。

It was none other than Mary.

= It was none other than Mary (that ...). 强调句型省略了that从句。

第二句it指代前文的starting at once。你漏了一个字母t。

不要光提问，提问之间自己先想一想! 注意句子表达的逻辑，注意前后文之间的联系。
