There is no point doing .....做某事没有意义/好处。doing 前可以加逻辑主语，用物主代词，不建议使用宾格代词。

分析意义不大，记住下面这些表达，增加积累才是上策：

There is a lot of (some/much/a little/little/no) + 表示“用途、好处、利益、作用、道理、意义、乐趣”等含义的不可数名词 + in (doing) sth. 或 doing sth.

其中，in (doing) sth. 表示“在（做）某事方面”，可以看作“方面状语”。

表示“用途、好处、利益、作用、道理、意义、乐趣”等含义的不可数名词，常见的有：

use, advantage, good, sense, point, fun, merit, pleasure 等。例如：

1. There is no use in arguing with him.  与他争论没用。

2. There is no advantage in going so early. 去那么早一点好处都没有。

3. There is no sense in beating about the bush.  拐弯抹角说话没有道理。

4.There is no point in his coming back.  他回来没有意义了。

5. There is no good in gossiping here. 这不是拉闲话的地方。

6. There is no fun in winning a thing unless you play for it. 不费心思得来的东西实在没有什么意思。

7. There is no pleasure in having nothing to do.  无事可做真无趣。

8. There is no disgrace in being poor.  贫穷并不丢脸。
