复数泛指是指代所有还是某些？
老师好，这是学校发的邮件，有些疑问。
You'll need to bring your student card if you are attending classes on campus. Student cards will be required to tap into buildings and rooms so that we can manage capacity limits and to be used to assist in contact tracing if needed.
student cards 用的是复数泛指，是否解释为2张以上的学生卡才能打开楼门？是否应该替换成a student card 因为一张学生卡就能开门了。
buildings and rooms 为何没有特指学校的楼和屋子？这里是泛指世界上的所有楼和某些楼？感觉语义就不太对了吧。
一般复数泛指是指代所有还是某些呢？老师有没有例句。

1. 复数名词 student cards ，不是指“一个学生两张学生卡”，这是错误的概念，一个学生不可能有两张学生卡。开始的句子已经很明确：bring your student card（每个学生只有一张学生卡）。这里用复数且泛指，表示学生卡的用途和用法。
2 .buildings and rooms 为何没有特指学校的楼和屋子？这里是泛指世界上的所有楼和某些楼？——这种理解相当错误！没有定冠词就可以指全世界？
