句子成分分析与理解
1.They can give families like yours a sense of security going into the New Year.
这里的分词做状语，句中动词是可跟双宾语的give，逻辑主语they还是families呢？
2.I believe what you said to be true.
不定式在这里做什么成分呢？一开始阅读时我判断是宾补，但查字典中say没有跟宾补的用法。
3.There was a major riot in London and Paris was bought to the brink of another revolution in May of that year.
前面有谓语动词was，后面有被动形式的was bought，该怎样理解出现两个谓语动词呢？
4.Rare as it was for a pop song to address politics,the message in Revolution attracted fierce resentment within the radical left before re-appearing in 1987 in one of the most seminal and ground breaking advertisements ever made.
这里的as引导的句子是做状语吗？同样的，前面有attracted,后面有made，两个谓语动词在句中应该怎样划分成分理解呢？

这个句子需要改进：
They can give families like yours a sense of security when they go into the New Year.
when引导时间状语从句。或者：
They can give families like yours going into the New Year a sense of security going into the New Year.
现在分词短语作定语。
2.I believe what you said to be true.
what you said为宾语，to be true为宾补。believe sth to be true.
3.There was a major riot in London and Paris was bought to the brink of another revolution in May of that year.
这是并列句。and 并列二个分句，Paris是第二个分句的主语。
4.Rare as it was for a pop song to address politics, the message in Revolution attracted fierce resentment within the radical left before re-appearing in 1987 in one of the most seminal and ground breaking advertisements ever made.
as引导的句子让步状语从句。attracted为主句谓语动词。ever made为过去分词短语作后置定语修饰advertisements。（made为被动意义，是过去分词，怎么能误以为是谓语动词呢？语法基本功不扎实，不会区分过去分词和过去式，导致你看不懂句子
