网友的描述自相矛盾啊。less 是比较级的反向意义，怎么还能加 er？ less 不受音节限制。

He is more lucky than clever.

这种结构 more/less + adj. + than + adj.  形容词不分音节，格式都是如此。

对比如下：

He is more thirsty than hungry.

与其说他饿，不如说他渴。（渴而不饿）

He is more hungry than thirsty.
与其说他渴，不如说他饿。（饿而不渴）

He is less thirsty than hungry.

与其说他渴，不如说他饿。（饿而不渴）
He is less hungry than thirsty.
与其说他饿，不如说他渴。（渴而不饿）
