原文:If I were you, I wouldn't have done that.

我实际也没有做那件事。主句说我不会那样做只是说理论上几乎没有我做那件事的可能性，并不是说实际上我做还是没有做那件事。

我的疑问:这里条件句里用的是were式虚拟语气，were是过去时，表示与现在或将来的事实相反，按理来说主句是would do that，才对。因为“should/would/could/might + 不定式完成时”与虚拟条件连用，表示“与过去事实不符或相反的虚拟语气”。

If I were you, I wouldn't have done that.

这个句子是没有问题的。其对应的事实是，I am not you, and you did that. 即从句假设的是现在，主句表示的是过去。这是错综时间虚拟条件句。

If it had been a decade earlier, such an act would have required...。

If it had been in the past, they would have thrown away these things.

关于这二个句子，你是对的。从句对应的事实是：It is now, but not a decade earlier. It is now, but not in the past. 所以从句应该是：

If it were a decade earlier, such an act would have required...。

If it were in the past, they would have thrown away these things.

这二个句子仍然是错综时间虚条件句，从句表示与现在事实相反的假设，主句表示基于这种假设对过去情况的推测。所以主句用were, 主句用would have done.
