如何理解a lifetime of experience

答疑网老师好，

牛津9的lifetime词条下有个短语，a lifetime of experience 毕生的经验

这里的lifetime似乎变成了量词，像gallon，kilometer

但是，别的词典找不到类似的用法，所以想请教老师，lifetime这样用的道理是什么？

two days' vacation;a two-day vacation都很好理解，照 a lifetime of experience这样，我可以写two days of vacation吗？
