请问一下老师，例句中imagine如果只用过去时，错吗？ imagine并不是发生在过去的过去，为什么用过去完成时呢？

He's the opposite of what I'd imagined. 时态错误。
修改如下：
He was the opposite of what I'd imagined.
He's the opposite of what I've imagined.
He's the opposite of what I imagined.
