2.that引导的定语从句，指代the prediction，但that在从句中是做什么成分呢？后面的介宾短语in the closet是做状语修饰前面的主语从句吗？

1.make good是固定短语，也是英语俚语。意思是“成功；实现；履行”。如果非要分析make good the prediction中的good所作成分的话，我觉得可以理解为宾补，因为将短语改为make the prediction good似乎仍能表达出类似的含义。

2.标红的that引导的应该是prediction的同位语从句而非定语从句，所以that在从句中不作任何成分，只起引导作用。in the closet是主语从句中的地点状语。
